San Francisco's Curiosity Shoppe is a haven for creative, crafty types who revel in kitschy, one-of-a-kind finds. The Valencia Street boutique owned by Derek Fagerstrom and Lauren Smith is home to an irresistible selection of witty items ranging from knitted bottle cozies to terrarium kits to pencils that look like sharpened twigs. The store has inspired a dedicated set of locals, but on September 9th the Curiosity Shoppe will be given the shelf space to win over the country.
